ABOUT Sally Hillman

I am a Senior Global Content and Social Lead with over 25 years of experience working for leading consumer titles, luxury brands, agencies and start-ups. My career spans a number of diverse brands including Cosmopolitan, John Lewis, Nyetimber, LloydsPharmacy, The Flower Council of Holland and Aira, a clean energy tech company. 
 

I specialise in transforming business objectives into impactful, integrated digital content campaigns, with a strong focus on social strategy and storytelling. Highly creative and results-driven, I excel in producing engaging video content and building brand awareness through collaborations with influencers and strategic partners.
 

After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Journalism from the University of the Arts London, I began my career at Cosmopolitan, quickly moving from Sub-Editor to Beauty Writer. I went on to become Beauty Editor at Sugar, the UK’s best-selling teenage magazine at the time, and later worked as a freelance Beauty Editor for Fabulous magazine at The Sun, while also taking on copywriting roles for John Lewis and The Body Shop.
 

My transition into digital came as Content Marketing Manager at ShopStyle by PopSugar, a pioneering US fashion and beauty platform with 70+ million users worldwide. There, I gained invaluable insight into blending content with commerce, helping to shape one of the first shopping aggregator and influencer affiliate platforms.
 

Since then, I have continued to refine my expertise in content marketing, directing and localising multi-channel global campaigns for both brands and agencies. I bring a unique combination of editorial excellence, creative vision, and digital strategy to every project - delivering content that not only engages audiences but drives measurable results.
